Detroit Rising Rocket Love Remix EP, is an exciting Soulful House, Nu-Jazz album from the top London DJ/Producers. Jimpster, Kaidi Tatham, Sean Mccabe with Z Records ( Dave Lee) & EVM128 from CoOp Presents. Mastering b UK wizard AtJazz.
First up Jimpster remixes the Detroit Rising space opera, " Rocket Love", 2 funk-fused house tracks with guitar licks from Duminie Deporres (Public Enemy) & bass lines from Kern Brantley ( Mary J Blige, Beyonce, Aretha Franklin). The dreamy Dub version has an infectious hook and melody.
Next up Sean Mccabe was brought in by Dave Lee of Z records to remix the original detroit hit " Little Bit of Love" into a fast paced dance heater.
King of the keys Kaidi Tatham remixes 2 different P-funk musician infused tracks. "Our World"stars P-funk keyboard wizard & vocalist Danny Bedrosian, alongside grand daughter of George Clinton, Tonysha Nelson.
The emotive soulful broken brilliance of "Peace & Harmon" also gets the Kaidi treatment, starring Sue Ann Carwell of Prince fame and Steve Boyd of Kool & the Gand and P-funk.
Finally EVM128 of CoOp presents fame, rounds off the album with a fast and futuristic Bruk beat version from the romantic Detroit Rising cut "Gorgeous"
